Welcome!
Hi and welcome to Mrs. Strunk's third grade class! I am off onto a new adventure this year. After teaching special education for 17 wonderful years and teaching at the same school for 15 of those years, I am taking a new direction. I am going to teach at a different primary center as a general education third grade teacher. I am very, very excited and just as nervous. I hope that you enjoy my blog. I would like to share funny things that happen in class, tidbits of information, and my love for my students. Feel free to share your thoughts on how I can better improve this site. Also, feel free to post and comment.

Mrs. Strunk has a BLOG?!?! WOW...i am SO VERY impressed!!! I hope you have an awesome year in your new third grade adventure! Those little guys are very lucky to have you!! Does this mean you're going to unpack the smart board and start using it...lol ;o)
Enjoy the last few days of summer and have a fabulous start of the new school year! Mrs. Baumgartner
Um, well, the Smart Board is now in the garage. Maybe Mrs. B. can come over and help me learn how to use the darned thing!!!
You are my very first post. Yea for you! Your set of Ginsu Steak Knives should be arriving shortly!! Ha!
Hey Kurran!!! Thanks for pointing me to your new blog! Now I'm going to try to figure out how to subscribe to your blog (if it's even possible!). Can you tell I'm a blog virgin!?! ;-)
Smooches, Heni
Heni, my girl!!!
I've missed talking to you!! Hopefully, I can get Flat Stanley's little self over to you this year!
I, too, know little to nothing about blogging but this was so easy it's not even funny! You can get a gmail account through google (type in google then gmail) which is free. Not sure if that is how you "subscribe" or not! :)
Hola, chica! Ain't technology fun? You should get a Facebook page, too. My daughters' friends think it is cool that I have one! Go figure. I survived 3 days of teaching preschool Vacation Bible School. Barely. It was fun working with Allison, though, I have to say. Anne H. is doing the last 2 days of the week with Allison. Anyway ... one cute story: Allison was taking some pictures and Kloie, one of our 2- year old sweeties, said, "Picture me! Picture me!" And then she gave this huge fake smile. It was sooooo cute!

I'm very proud of you starting your own blog and being so honest about your anxiety over starting a new year. I think the more honest you are the more people will "connect" (there's that word again) to what you're saying.
Good luck with it and I can't wait to read more!
